B10 - East Livermore, Maine

About

Bowman Field (B10) is a small grass strip nestled in the heart of Central Maine along the Androscoggin River. Bowman was founded in 1960 by two friends and has done nothing but continue to grow and expand since then. It is home to roughly 15 year round planes and a few seasonal aircraft. A member who owns river frontage adjacent to the airport allows use for seaplanes to land and tie-up. The Club hosts two fly-ins annually, one in August and one in February. The field is maintained, operated and owned by the Bowman Field Flying Club which boasts roughly 35 members who are dedicated to maintaining and expanding general aviation in Maine.
